The Final Table of the WSOP

The final table for the WSOP has formed quite nicely. The WSOP, or World Series of Poker is a much heralded event that is supported by a world class of corporate sponsorship entities. It hands out multi-millions of dollars in payouts and players come from all over the world. The WSOP started over forty years ago and in that time it has come up to be the top gambling event of the year. Even players who aren’t fans of poker still venture to ESPN or the actual live-event to watch the poker gambling fun that happens. This means that there is plenty of room for growth with the game. This is the main reason why gamblers love poker- they know that they can consistently grow over time with the game and hone their skills for a better result. The WSOP’s table wins are a great way to motivate any gambler to keep on studying their craft. So far this year the main table is already fleshing itself out and it is the European players who are making the best showing. So far Martin Staszko is the leader in chip count and he is from the Czech Republic. He currently is holding approximately 40-million worth of chips at the table. The second is Eoghan O’Dea from Ireland. He is holding 33-million and Germany’s Pius Heinz is standing in line for the win too with 16-million in chip count.

It is common to have numbers like this when a player is working in the WSOP. There was a time when players came to the tables just for bragging rights, but those days are done. Now players visit for the huge payouts and that is exactly what they get. There are also 3 final members at the main table who are Americans—a poor showing for the masses, but still they have a good shot at winning. This is going to be a great final event due to the huge amounts being passed around. This means that you are going to have a great time watching the action live. All you have to do is visit ESPN and ESPN2 and you are going to be able to follow the poker fun until the very final payout.
